How To Uninstall aapt On Debian 9

To uninstall aapt just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just aapt

Android Asset Packaging ToolDebian 9.0devel1:7.0.0+r33-1
sudo apt-get remove aapt

This will remove just the aapt package itself.

Uninstall aapt and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove aapt

This will remove the aapt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for aapt then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge aapt

Or similarly, like this aapt

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove aapt
