How To Uninstall abacas On Debian 9

To uninstall abacas just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just abacas

Algorithm Based Automatic Contiguation of Assembled SequencesDebian 9.0science1.3.1-3
sudo apt-get remove abacas

This will remove just the abacas package itself.

Uninstall abacas and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove abacas

This will remove the abacas package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for abacas then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge abacas

Or similarly, like this abacas

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove abacas
