How To Uninstall abcde On Debian 9

To uninstall abcde just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just abcde

A Better CD EncoderDebian 9.0sound2.8.1-1
sudo apt-get remove abcde

This will remove just the abcde package itself.

Uninstall abcde and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove abcde

This will remove the abcde package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for abcde then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge abcde

Or similarly, like this abcde

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove abcde
