How To Uninstall abigail-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall abigail-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just abigail-tools

ABI Generic Analysis and Instrumentation Library (tools)Debian 9.0devel1.0~rc6-1
sudo apt-get remove abigail-tools

This will remove just the abigail-tools package itself.

Uninstall abigail-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove abigail-tools

This will remove the abigail-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for abigail-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge abigail-tools

Or similarly, like this abigail-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove abigail-tools
