How To Uninstall acheck On Debian 9

To uninstall acheck just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just acheck

Check common localisation mistakesDebian 9.0text0.5.4
sudo apt-get remove acheck

This will remove just the acheck package itself.

Uninstall acheck and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove acheck

This will remove the acheck package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for acheck then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge acheck

Or similarly, like this acheck

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove acheck
