How To Uninstall acl On Debian 9

To uninstall acl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just acl

Access control list utilitiesDebian 9.0utils2.2.52-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove acl

This will remove just the acl package itself.

Uninstall acl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove acl

This will remove the acl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for acl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge acl

Or similarly, like this acl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove acl
