How To Uninstall acpi-call-dkms On Debian 9

To uninstall acpi-call-dkms just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just acpi-call-dkms

Kernel module that enables you to call ACPI methodsDebian 9.0kernel1.1.0-3
sudo apt-get remove acpi-call-dkms

This will remove just the acpi-call-dkms package itself.

Uninstall acpi-call-dkms and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove acpi-call-dkms

This will remove the acpi-call-dkms package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for acpi-call-dkms then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge acpi-call-dkms

Or similarly, like this acpi-call-dkms

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove acpi-call-dkms
