How To Uninstall acpitool-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall acpitool-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just acpitool-dbg

linuxcommand line ACPI client (debug)debug0.5.1-4+b4
sudo apt-get remove acpitool-dbg

This will remove just the acpitool-dbg package itself.

Uninstall acpitool-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove acpitool-dbg

This will remove the acpitool-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for acpitool-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge acpitool-dbg

Or similarly, like this acpitool-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove acpitool-dbg
