How To Uninstall adduser On Debian 9

To uninstall adduser just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just adduser

add and remove users and groupsDebian 9.0admin3.115
sudo apt-get remove adduser

This will remove just the adduser package itself.

Uninstall adduser and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove adduser

This will remove the adduser package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for adduser then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge adduser

Or similarly, like this adduser

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove adduser
