How To Uninstall adns-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall adns-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just adns-tools

Asynchronous-capable DNS client utilitiesDebian 9.0net1.5.0~rc1-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove adns-tools

This will remove just the adns-tools package itself.

Uninstall adns-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove adns-tools

This will remove the adns-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for adns-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge adns-tools

Or similarly, like this adns-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove adns-tools
