How To Uninstall adwaita-qt-data On Debian 9

To uninstall adwaita-qt-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just adwaita-qt-data

Qt 5 port of GNOME’s Adwaita theme — data filesDebian 9.0gnome0.5-2
sudo apt-get remove adwaita-qt-data

This will remove just the adwaita-qt-data package itself.

Uninstall adwaita-qt-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove adwaita-qt-data

This will remove the adwaita-qt-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for adwaita-qt-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge adwaita-qt-data

Or similarly, like this adwaita-qt-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove adwaita-qt-data
