How To Uninstall aegisub-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall aegisub-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just aegisub-dbg

aegisub debug symbolsDebian 9.0debug3.2.2+dfsg-3+b3
sudo apt-get remove aegisub-dbg

This will remove just the aegisub-dbg package itself.

Uninstall aegisub-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove aegisub-dbg

This will remove the aegisub-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for aegisub-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge aegisub-dbg

Or similarly, like this aegisub-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove aegisub-dbg
