How To Uninstall aesfix On Debian 9

To uninstall aesfix just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just aesfix

tool for correcting bit errors in an AES key scheduleDebian 9.0utils1.0.1-5
sudo apt-get remove aesfix

This will remove just the aesfix package itself.

Uninstall aesfix and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove aesfix

This will remove the aesfix package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for aesfix then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge aesfix

Or similarly, like this aesfix

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove aesfix
