How To Uninstall aeskeyfind On Debian 9

To uninstall aeskeyfind just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just aeskeyfind

tool for locating AES keys in a captured memory imageDebian 9.0utils1:1.0-4
sudo apt-get remove aeskeyfind

This will remove just the aeskeyfind package itself.

Uninstall aeskeyfind and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove aeskeyfind

This will remove the aeskeyfind package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for aeskeyfind then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge aeskeyfind

Or similarly, like this aeskeyfind

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove aeskeyfind
