How To Uninstall ahcpd On Debian 9

To uninstall ahcpd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ahcpd

Ad-Hoc Configuration ProtocolDebian 9.0net0.53-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove ahcpd

This will remove just the ahcpd package itself.

Uninstall ahcpd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ahcpd

This will remove the ahcpd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ahcpd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ahcpd

Or similarly, like this ahcpd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ahcpd
