How To Uninstall akonadi-backend-postgresql On Debian 9

To uninstall akonadi-backend-postgresql just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just akonadi-backend-postgresql

linuxPostgreSQL storage backend for Akonadimisc4:16.04.3-4
sudo apt-get remove akonadi-backend-postgresql

This will remove just the akonadi-backend-postgresql package itself.

Uninstall akonadi-backend-postgresql and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove akonadi-backend-postgresql

This will remove the akonadi-backend-postgresql package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for akonadi-backend-postgresql then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge akonadi-backend-postgresql

Or similarly, like this akonadi-backend-postgresql

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove akonadi-backend-postgresql
