How To Uninstall alembic On Debian 9

To uninstall alembic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just alembic

linuxlightweight database migration tool for SQLAlchemypython0.8.8-2
sudo apt-get remove alembic

This will remove just the alembic package itself.

Uninstall alembic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove alembic

This will remove the alembic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for alembic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge alembic

Or similarly, like this alembic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove alembic
