How To Uninstall alevtd On Debian 9

To uninstall alevtd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just alevtd

HTTP daemon for teletext pagesDebian 9.0net3.103-4+b2
sudo apt-get remove alevtd

This will remove just the alevtd package itself.

Uninstall alevtd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove alevtd

This will remove the alevtd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for alevtd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge alevtd

Or similarly, like this alevtd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove alevtd
