How To Uninstall alfa On Debian 9

To uninstall alfa just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just alfa

Automated Line Fitting AlgorithmDebian 9.0science1.0-2
sudo apt-get remove alfa

This will remove just the alfa package itself.

Uninstall alfa and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove alfa

This will remove the alfa package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for alfa then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge alfa

Or similarly, like this alfa

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove alfa
