How To Uninstall algol68g On Debian 9

To uninstall algol68g just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just algol68g

linuxImplementation of Algol 68 as defined by the Revised Reportdevel2.8-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove algol68g

This will remove just the algol68g package itself.

Uninstall algol68g and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove algol68g

This will remove the algol68g package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for algol68g then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge algol68g

Or similarly, like this algol68g

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove algol68g
