How To Uninstall alien-hunter On Debian 9

To uninstall alien-hunter just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just alien-hunter

Interpolated Variable Order Motifs to identify horizontally acquired DNADebian 9.0science1.7-5
sudo apt-get remove alien-hunter

This will remove just the alien-hunter package itself.

Uninstall alien-hunter and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove alien-hunter

This will remove the alien-hunter package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for alien-hunter then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge alien-hunter

Or similarly, like this alien-hunter

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove alien-hunter
