How To Uninstall alpine-doc On Debian 9

To uninstall alpine-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just alpine-doc

Text-based email client's documentationDebian 9.0doc2.20+dfsg1-7
sudo apt-get remove alpine-doc

This will remove just the alpine-doc package itself.

Uninstall alpine-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove alpine-doc

This will remove the alpine-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for alpine-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge alpine-doc

Or similarly, like this alpine-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove alpine-doc
