How To Uninstall alpine-pico On Debian 9

To uninstall alpine-pico just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just alpine-pico

Simple text editor from Alpine, a text-based email clientDebian 9.0editors2.20+dfsg1-7
sudo apt-get remove alpine-pico

This will remove just the alpine-pico package itself.

Uninstall alpine-pico and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove alpine-pico

This will remove the alpine-pico package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for alpine-pico then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge alpine-pico

Or similarly, like this alpine-pico

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove alpine-pico
