How To Uninstall alter-sequence-alignment On Debian 9

To uninstall alter-sequence-alignment just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just alter-sequence-alignment

genomic sequences ALignment Transformation EnviRonmentDebian 9.0java1.3.3+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove alter-sequence-alignment

This will remove just the alter-sequence-alignment package itself.

Uninstall alter-sequence-alignment and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove alter-sequence-alignment

This will remove the alter-sequence-alignment package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for alter-sequence-alignment then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge alter-sequence-alignment

Or similarly, like this alter-sequence-alignment

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove alter-sequence-alignment
