How To Uninstall amarok-common On Debian 9

To uninstall amarok-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amarok-common

architecture independent files for AmarokDebian 9.0sound2.8.0-8
sudo apt-get remove amarok-common

This will remove just the amarok-common package itself.

Uninstall amarok-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amarok-common

This will remove the amarok-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amarok-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amarok-common

Or similarly, like this amarok-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amarok-common
