How To Uninstall amarok On Debian 9

To uninstall amarok just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amarok

easy to use media player based on the KDE PlatformDebian 9.0sound2.8.0-8
sudo apt-get remove amarok

This will remove just the amarok package itself.

Uninstall amarok and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amarok

This will remove the amarok package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amarok then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amarok

Or similarly, like this amarok

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amarok
