How To Uninstall amavisd-milter-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall amavisd-milter-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amavisd-milter-dbg

linuxamavisd-new interface for milter-capable MTAs - debugging symbolsdebug1.5.0-5
sudo apt-get remove amavisd-milter-dbg

This will remove just the amavisd-milter-dbg package itself.

Uninstall amavisd-milter-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amavisd-milter-dbg

This will remove the amavisd-milter-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amavisd-milter-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amavisd-milter-dbg

Or similarly, like this amavisd-milter-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amavisd-milter-dbg
