How To Uninstall amber On Debian 9

To uninstall amber just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amber

Elegant HTML templating engine for Go, inspired from HAML and Jade (CLI tool)Debian 9.0text0.0~git20161231.0.9be5e8a-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove amber

This will remove just the amber package itself.

Uninstall amber and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amber

This will remove the amber package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amber then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amber

Or similarly, like this amber

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amber
