How To Uninstall amide On Debian 9

To uninstall amide just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amide

software for Medical ImagingDebian 9.0graphics1.0.5-7
sudo apt-get remove amide

This will remove just the amide package itself.

Uninstall amide and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amide

This will remove the amide package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amide then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amide

Or similarly, like this amide

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amide
