How To Uninstall amideco On Debian 9

To uninstall amideco just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amideco

linuxDecompress flashfiles equipped with an AMI BIOSutils0.31e-3.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove amideco

This will remove just the amideco package itself.

Uninstall amideco and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amideco

This will remove the amideco package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amideco then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amideco

Or similarly, like this amideco

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amideco
