How To Uninstall amqp-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall amqp-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amqp-tools

Command-line utilities for interacting with AMQP serversDebian 9.0net0.8.0-1+b3
sudo apt-get remove amqp-tools

This will remove just the amqp-tools package itself.

Uninstall amqp-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amqp-tools

This will remove the amqp-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amqp-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amqp-tools

Or similarly, like this amqp-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amqp-tools
