How To Uninstall ams On Debian 9

To uninstall ams just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ams

linuxRealtime modular synthesizer for ALSAsound2.1.1-1.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove ams

This will remove just the ams package itself.

Uninstall ams and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ams

This will remove the ams package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ams then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ams

Or similarly, like this ams

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ams
