How To Uninstall amsynth On Debian 9

To uninstall amsynth just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amsynth

sudo apt-get remove amsynth

This will remove just the amsynth package itself.

Uninstall amsynth and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amsynth

This will remove the amsynth package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amsynth then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amsynth

Or similarly, like this amsynth

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amsynth
