How To Uninstall amule-daemon On Debian 9

To uninstall amule-daemon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amule-daemon

linuxnon-graphic version of aMule, a client for the eD2k and Kad networksnet1:2.3.2-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove amule-daemon

This will remove just the amule-daemon package itself.

Uninstall amule-daemon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amule-daemon

This will remove the amule-daemon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amule-daemon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amule-daemon

Or similarly, like this amule-daemon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amule-daemon
