How To Uninstall amule On Debian 9

To uninstall amule just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amule

client for the eD2k and Kad networks, like eMuleDebian 9.0net1:2.3.2-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove amule

This will remove just the amule package itself.

Uninstall amule and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amule

This will remove the amule package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amule then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amule

Or similarly, like this amule

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amule
