To uninstall androidsdk-traceview just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just androidsdk-traceview

sudo apt-get remove androidsdk-traceview

This will remove just the androidsdk-traceview package itself.

Uninstall androidsdk-traceview and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove androidsdk-traceview

This will remove the androidsdk-traceview package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for androidsdk-traceview then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge androidsdk-traceview

Or similarly, like this androidsdk-traceview

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove androidsdk-traceview
