How To Uninstall anjuta On Debian 9

To uninstall anjuta just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just anjuta

GNOME development IDE, for C/C++Debian 9.0gnome2:3.22.0-3
sudo apt-get remove anjuta

This will remove just the anjuta package itself.

Uninstall anjuta and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove anjuta

This will remove the anjuta package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for anjuta then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge anjuta

Or similarly, like this anjuta

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove anjuta
