How To Uninstall anyremote On Debian 9

To uninstall anyremote just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just anyremote

Remote control daemon for applications using Bluetooth, IrDA or WiFiDebian 9.0utils6.6.1-1
sudo apt-get remove anyremote

This will remove just the anyremote package itself.

Uninstall anyremote and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove anyremote

This will remove the anyremote package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for anyremote then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge anyremote

Or similarly, like this anyremote

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove anyremote
