How To Uninstall aodh-expirer On Debian 9

To uninstall aodh-expirer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just aodh-expirer

OpenStack Telemetry (Ceilometer) Alarming - expirerDebian 9.0web3.0.0-4
sudo apt-get remove aodh-expirer

This will remove just the aodh-expirer package itself.

Uninstall aodh-expirer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove aodh-expirer

This will remove the aodh-expirer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for aodh-expirer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge aodh-expirer

Or similarly, like this aodh-expirer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove aodh-expirer
