How To Uninstall aolserver4-core On Debian 9

To uninstall aolserver4-core just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just aolserver4-core

AOL web server version 4 - core librariesDebian 9.0httpd4.5.1-18.1
sudo apt-get remove aolserver4-core

This will remove just the aolserver4-core package itself.

Uninstall aolserver4-core and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove aolserver4-core

This will remove the aolserver4-core package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for aolserver4-core then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge aolserver4-core

Or similarly, like this aolserver4-core

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove aolserver4-core
