How To Uninstall apache2-data On Debian 9

To uninstall apache2-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apache2-data

Apache HTTP Server (common files)Debian 9.0httpd2.4.25-3
sudo apt-get remove apache2-data

This will remove just the apache2-data package itself.

Uninstall apache2-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apache2-data

This will remove the apache2-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apache2-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apache2-data

Or similarly, like this apache2-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apache2-data
