How To Uninstall apacheds On Debian 9

To uninstall apacheds just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apacheds

Apache Directory ServerDebian 9.0java2.0.0~M15-4
sudo apt-get remove apacheds

This will remove just the apacheds package itself.

Uninstall apacheds and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apacheds

This will remove the apacheds package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apacheds then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apacheds

Or similarly, like this apacheds

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apacheds
