How To Uninstall apcalc-common On Debian 9

To uninstall apcalc-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apcalc-common

Arbitrary precision calculator (common files)Debian 9.0math2.12.5.0-1
sudo apt-get remove apcalc-common

This will remove just the apcalc-common package itself.

Uninstall apcalc-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apcalc-common

This will remove the apcalc-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apcalc-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apcalc-common

Or similarly, like this apcalc-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apcalc-common
