How To Uninstall apcalc On Debian 9

To uninstall apcalc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apcalc

Arbitrary precision calculator (original nameDebian 9.0math2.12.5.0-1+b3
sudo apt-get remove apcalc

This will remove just the apcalc package itself.

Uninstall apcalc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apcalc

This will remove the apcalc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apcalc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apcalc

Or similarly, like this apcalc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apcalc
