How To Uninstall apertium-af-nl On Debian 9

To uninstall apertium-af-nl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apertium-af-nl

Apertium translation data for the Afrikaans-Dutch pairDebian 9.0science0.2.0~r58256-1
sudo apt-get remove apertium-af-nl

This will remove just the apertium-af-nl package itself.

Uninstall apertium-af-nl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apertium-af-nl

This will remove the apertium-af-nl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apertium-af-nl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apertium-af-nl

Or similarly, like this apertium-af-nl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apertium-af-nl
