How To Uninstall apertium-en-es On Debian 9

To uninstall apertium-en-es just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apertium-en-es

Apertium translation data for the English-Spanish pairDebian 9.0misc0.8.0~r57502-2
sudo apt-get remove apertium-en-es

This will remove just the apertium-en-es package itself.

Uninstall apertium-en-es and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apertium-en-es

This will remove the apertium-en-es package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apertium-en-es then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apertium-en-es

Or similarly, like this apertium-en-es

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apertium-en-es
