How To Uninstall apertium-mlt-ara On Debian 9

To uninstall apertium-mlt-ara just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apertium-mlt-ara

Apertium translation data for the Maltese-Arabic pairDebian 9.0science0.2.0~r62623-1
sudo apt-get remove apertium-mlt-ara

This will remove just the apertium-mlt-ara package itself.

Uninstall apertium-mlt-ara and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apertium-mlt-ara

This will remove the apertium-mlt-ara package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apertium-mlt-ara then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apertium-mlt-ara

Or similarly, like this apertium-mlt-ara

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apertium-mlt-ara
