How To Uninstall apf-firewall On Debian 9

To uninstall apf-firewall just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apf-firewall

easy iptables based firewall systemDebian 9.0net9.7+rev1-5
sudo apt-get remove apf-firewall

This will remove just the apf-firewall package itself.

Uninstall apf-firewall and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apf-firewall

This will remove the apf-firewall package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apf-firewall then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apf-firewall

Or similarly, like this apf-firewall

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apf-firewall
