How To Uninstall apg On Debian 9

To uninstall apg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apg

Automated Password Generator - Standalone versionDebian 9.0admin2.2.3.dfsg.1-4+b1
sudo apt-get remove apg

This will remove just the apg package itself.

Uninstall apg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apg

This will remove the apg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apg

Or similarly, like this apg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apg
