How To Uninstall apitrace On Debian 9

To uninstall apitrace just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just apitrace

tools for debugging OpenGL applications and drivers - cli frontendsDebian 9.0graphics7.1+git20160531.2d78bef0+repack-1.1+b4
sudo apt-get remove apitrace

This will remove just the apitrace package itself.

Uninstall apitrace and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove apitrace

This will remove the apitrace package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for apitrace then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge apitrace

Or similarly, like this apitrace

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove apitrace
